Steelers or Seahawks

Who do you think is going to win the super bowl of 2006??? The mighty Seahawks or the ever famous Steelers??? I'm for the Steelers...Ben Roethlesberger(sp?) has got skill!

Cooking Healthy

OK, I have another goal I am working to achieve, and that is to cook more healthy. I want to cook at least 5 days out of the week, and start considering eating left-overs.....yuck! I have realized that there is just too much money that is spent through out the week when eating out. So, if you have any recipe ideas, I would love them!

Tish has already hooked me up with a yummy stir-fry. I can't wait to try it out :) So, for those of you who love to cook & have some good recipes....send them my way :) !!!!

F.L.A.B.

I wanted to share my feelings on F.L.A.B. and weight loss in general. I used to be able to fit into a size 8, which for me, is a really decent size. Now, I am lucky if I can find a size 14 to fit me. Yes, I know that is a drastic change, but I have realized that I have put on weight & that I need to do something about it NOW, before it is too late. This is my second day on the new life style and it has gone great so far. I am not calling this a diet because it isn't for me. It is a way of life style change. I am going to start eating healthier and working out more often to help keep my metabolism up!

I have a membership to Curves & I am counting on my friends at work to hold me accountable for going at least 3 times a week :) I went yesterday and worked out with Tracy & that was a fun time. I already felt better about myself. Then I went home & did some abs on my new cool ab ball, that Lacy got for me! Needless to say, today I am sore, which is GOOD!

Anyway, I love the support I am getting from work and at home. Casey & I have set healthy eating goals, so that should help us both out. I promised myself that I wouldn't only do this for me, but also for my future kids as well. I went them to have a fun, fit Mom, that has energy & is confident about herself :) That is my promise to myself . Thanks for listening!!!

THE Game

I must say, after last nights game, USC vs. UT, I would have voted Vince Young as MVP of the year myself. He did a wonderful job. I had a hard time at first cheering for UT because I am more for the Aggies, due to my family bleeding mostly maroon. I thought that the USC coach made some pretty bad calls. I mean who goes for 2 yrds. on a 4th down? Freakin' punt the ball!! AND, if we are going to have instant replay, then USE it....ya know? If you watch the game you know what I am talking about, but if you didn't then just know those were two bad calls that were either made or not made, however you see it.

I will agree with my dear friend Tisha, when she says that USC is a bit cocky! Especially their bitter quarterback!! Oh well, I guess I would be a little bittter too, but I certainly wouldn't bash the team that just beat me either. Anyway, this is my football venting for the day! Thanks for listening..... :)
