Texans Game and Family Time

Hello friends! Since my last blog, Christmas hadn't happened yet. But, it has come & gone just like that. As I mentioned in my last posting, my brother Eric was in the hospital on Christmas day. That day ended up being a very speacial day for me & my family. We had a good Christmas together. Even though some things didn't go how they usually do, they still went very well. I spent some time with my MawMaw for a few days after Christmas. She lives right outside of Beaumont. I love spending time with her. She is so much fun to be around.

Christmas Eve, Casey, his brother Ben, my sister Tiffany, and I went to a Texans game. They played the Jacksonville Jaguars. I thought they would pull through this game, but as usual they got sloppy during the second half and started making silly mistakes that they just lost AGAIN! Man, I was to "P"ed off that I didn't know what to do with myself. So, I went home & got ready for Christmas Eve church. That made everything better! I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas & I wish you a wonderful & safe New Year!

Oh, and I miss my friends at work :( Love you guys!!!! :)

Hospital Christmas

I used to really wonder how little kids in the hopital felt around Christmas time. Now, I know. My little brother, Eric, had his appendix removed earlier this week & is still in the hospital. Poor little guy! He is cooped up in a hospital room all day and his spirits for Christmas this year aren't how they usually are. I don't blame him. However, I am on a mission to help make this Christmas an extra special one for him. I am not quite sure what I am going to do, but I know I want to make him feel super special. Even if it takes just going to him on Christmas day to spend time with my family. He is a special brother to me. He & I are 10 years apart, but still have a strong relationship as brother & sister. I call him my little treasure :)

I am really liking this blogging thing. It is fun to post what is going on in life. Even if no one reads, it is nice to know I have had the chance to talk to a computer! HAHA

# 1 Texan Fan

OK, This is my first posting. I think I decided to finally join blogger because all of my friends at work are on here. I'll also admitt that I can check this site at work, so that keeps me from staying so bored on really slow days at the bank. I am getting so excited about Christmas. This will be mine & my husband's first Christmas together as a married couple. We have been "together" for 6 years now, so it doesn't feel much different around the holidays because we are still together...but there is still a little different feeling that comes along with your first Christmas together as husband & wife.

Enough of the sappy stuff....let's talk Texans & why I chose my tag line to be what it is. You see, I am originally from Pasadena, south east of Houston. So I am a natural Texan fan....even though we stink really bad! All of my friends here are Cowboys fans because I am now closer to Dallas. My manager Tisha would say it is because they are the better team, but I highly disagree! Well, to an extent. The Cowboys may be doing better this season, but the Houston Texan blood is still in me, so that explains why I stand alone on this in Waco.
